Walk-In Crisis Center

The SAMHC Walk-in Crisis Center is open 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm and provides services to both adults and children. SAMHC staff will gather information about the current presenting issue and historical information in order to provide the appropriate care for the person in crisis. This information may be gathered during a face-to-face meeting with the individual in crisis and, if possible, from collateral sources, i.e. that person's family, friend, or other concerned party. During the visit, SAMHC staff are able to provide any one or more of the following services:

• Crisis Assessment (may include alcohol and/or drug assessment);

• Crisis Counseling;

• Referral for continuing behavioral health care in the community (including assessing    eligibility for RBHA enrollment)

To lessen your wait time, fill out the English Intake Packet or the Spanish Intake Packet beforehand.
