Walk-In Crisis Center

Services provided by the SAMHC Walk-in Crisis Center is limited to include screening, triage, crisis assessment, crisis counseling, and referral. SAMHC staff assess historical and current information that may include results of face-to-face contact with the person, his or her family, or other informants. The crisis assessment, evaluation, and screening may include crisis alcohol and/or drug assessment; eligibility for RBHA services; admission to a SAMHC Observation Chair or Sub-acute bed; or referral to continuing behavioral health care services in the community.
