CPS Urgent Response Team

Consistent with Arizona HB 2024, SAMHC ensures CPS Urgent or Immediate Behavioral Health Response to children who are removed from the home by Child Protective Services (CPS) and are not already enrolled with a behavioral health provider.

For children ages birth to four years, SAMHC coordinates CPS dispatches with Easter Seals Blake Foundation. SAMHC provides the CPS Urgent or Immediate Behavioral Health Response to children ages five through seventeen.

Working with CPS, SAMHC provides bilingual/bicultural, Master's level clinical staff with experience, training and competency to assess these children.
