CPS Urgent Response Team

Working in partnership with CPS (Child Protective Services), SAMHC provides Urgent or Immediate Behavioral Health Response to children who are removed from their home by CPS and who are not already enrolled with a behavioral health provider. The assessments are completed by bilingual/multi-cultural, Master's level clinical staff with specialized training and competency to assess these children.

For children ages birth to four years, SAMHC coordinates CPS dispatches with Easter Seals Blake Foundation. SAMHC provides the CPS Urgent or Immediate Behavioral Health Response to children ages five through seventeen.
