Southern Arizona Mental Health Corporation (SAMHC) is licensed by the State of Arizona. As a not-for-profit, Level 1 Subacute agency, SAMHC provides behavioral health services in Pima County 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to those in need, regardless of age, gender, race, diagnosis, ability to pay, or enrollment status with the Regional Behavioral Health Authority, CPSA.

SAMHC IS A JCAHO-Accredited, State-Licensed Provider of Crisis Behavioral Health Services in Pima County, Arizona


CLINICAL CARE  Services are provided by physicians and clinicians who are prepared at Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral levels, An on-site psychiatrist is available Monday through Friday, 8 am to 9 pm, and Saturdays, 3 pm to 7 pm. An on-call psychiatrist is available at all other times. The services of a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Child Psychiatrist are also available on-site or by telephone consultation at all times. SAMHC exclusively provides crisis services and does not offer on-going mental health care.
